In windows the default function of printscreen is to take a snapshot of your screen and save it to the clipboard. Try opening paint or something and hitting paste.

It it basically a copy function, so, you are copying your screen when you press it. Go to Word or your word processing software, open up a new document and right click on your mouse and select paste. You now have a screen print.
It saves a “snapshot” of your screen.
Go to paint or any paint package after you hit printscreen and click paste.
You will see a copy of it.
When you see it, click save.
You know how to print a pic my friend.
Mail me if you are still stuck.
Dan.
Print Screen takes a copy of the screen.
If you press it, you can then paste the image of your computer screen in to a program like Paint, or Photoshop, or even Word.
Usefully, if you press the ‘Alt’ key when you press Print Screen, the image will only be of the active window, instead of the whole screen. Give it a go.
Click print screen and open a word then press control V.
